What is the Extended Warranty from the Super Client DualStore Program?
The Extended Warranty extends the coverage period beyond the standard warranty period offered by manufacturers, by one or two years. The Extended Warranty can only be purchased for products with a commercial warranty ranging from 12 to 36 months. It is an optional, paid service offered to all DualStore customers purchasing a product from designated categories.
The Extended Warranty can only be purchased at the time of placing the order, not retroactively.
How does it work? With the Super Client DualStore Program, you benefit from:
This service operates independently without affecting other standard services offered by DualStore, such as a 15-day return policy or the Pick-Up & Return service.
At the time of purchasing the Extended Warranty, the customer will pay its cost as per the price offer displayed on the DualStore website. Upon purchase, the customer will receive a card with all the details about this program.
The Extended Warranty can be purchased by any customer (individual or legal entity) at the time of buying a new product, regardless of the purchase method: online order, phone order.
During the entire coverage period provided by the Extended Warranty, transportation of products back and forth is free of charge, upon request, through the Pick-Up & Return service.
If the product covered by the Extended Warranty is resold or transferred to a third party, the said product continues to benefit from the Extended Warranty facilities under the same conditions as listed above.
Newly Defective Product
If the product for which the Extended Warranty service was purchased is defective when new and is replaced with an identical product, the replacement product benefits from the Extended Warranty on the same terms and conditions. If the product falls under the "Newly Defective Product" situation, and it is canceled, then the cost of the corresponding Extended Warranty service will also be canceled.
Terms and Conditions:
Products covered by the Extended Warranty have a resolution time in service of 5 business days. This period is calculated from the moment the product is received at the service unit designated by DualStore. If product repair is not possible within this interval, the product will be replaced with a new product, identical or similar, with specifications and performance characteristics at least equal to those of the initial product. Due to technological advancements, the proposed replacement product may have a lower price than the initial product. The product received for replacement continues to be covered by the Extended Warranty until the expiration of the initial term for which this service was purchased. If replacement is not possible, then the customer will receive the product's value, as recorded on the purchase invoice. In this last case, where the product's value is refunded, the effects of the Extended Warranty service cease.
The cost of the Super Client DualStore service cannot be refunded if the client who purchased this service has benefited from its effects: phone or WhatsApp communication via the specially allocated number, use of the specially allocated email address, service resolution within 5 working days, discounts on parts or other orders, etc.
In the event of unjustified retrieval of products in service, DualStore reserves the right to charge a diagnosis and/or round-trip transportation fee.
The warranty does not cover subassemblies and consumable materials (batteries, ribbons, image-forming units, printheads, toner or ink cartridges, and other consumables) and casable subassemblies that are part of the product (glass, gaskets, glass or plastic shelves, handles, plastic buttons, etc.). For LCD/LED screens, the Extended Warranty is granted in accordance with ISO 9241-302, 303, 305 and 307:2008 (maximum of 4 defective pixels and 5 defective subpixels).
The non-operating time extends the warranty period accordingly. This interval is considered from the registration in the service unit until the product is brought back into normal use and sent back to the customer.
DualStore may transfer the obligations resulting from honoring this service to a third party, with no impact on the customer's rights.
The Extended Warranty service is provided only within Romania's territory.
The Extended Warranty is in accordance with the rights provided by current consumer protection legislation.
The Extended Warranty is a paid service offered by DualStore.
The Extended Warranty expires if the product covered by it exits the normal warranty due to mechanical shock, liquid contact, unauthorized interventions, etc. (see warranty conditions here).
The Extended Warranty cannot be returned if the standard warranty, and implicitly the Extended Warranty, has been canceled for a product.
